Lazo von Lauffen is a wonderful 2 year old Aussie mix. Lazo told us he was a German Shepherd and, while we didn’t quite believe him, he was too cute to refuse, so he is safe with Westside now. Lazo is mid energy and jumps for joy in the beginning, but settles down quickly after some correction. He walks great on leash and has very good manners, looking at you periodically with his sweet smile, hoping to get some affection. Lazo has lived with other dogs previously and walks great with or without them. He is sweet, easy-going, affectionate and extremely submissive to humans. Lazo’s favorite pastime is sitting on your lap (which he might do even if you are sitting on a chair) and taking an afternoon nap right there. Lazo scored an A+ in playgroup, where he happily explored the yard and then invited each dog to play with him. He is very playful and never pushy, and will take on a submissive role to avoid any problems. Lazo is great with almost any dog and will be a wonderful addition to nearly any family. His easy-going temperament also makes him a great candidate for a first-time dog owner.
